Britney Spears confessed she finds she's being pushed to make videos that are too sexy and racy for her tastes. Britney called into the The TJ Show on AMP 103.3 Boston Thursday morning, and admitted she left a lot of the sexy footage for her new song "Work B*tch" on the cutting room floor, according to radio.com on Oct. 3. Spears said she finds herself under a lot of pressure to do hyper-sexual videos, but that as a mom at age 31, and at this point in her career she's over it.
Britney said she showed way more skin and did way more "stuff" for the video then what is in the finished product. She say's she cut out half of the video because she just didn't feel comfortable making that sexy of a video as a mom.
Spears admitted, "A lot of sex goes into what I do", adding that she'd like to go old school, and return to her earlier days when she wore one outfit through the entire video and it was all about the dance.
Maybe Britney should look to her father, who supposedly still holds a conservatorship following her meltdown. Some music critics have noted that the empowerment message of her new song gets lost in the fact that she doesn't even control her own life and career.
Britney Spears’ eighth studio album will drop on Dec. 3. Then the pop princess heads to Las Vegas on Dec. 27 to begin her two-year residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
