Britney Spears is quitting “X-Factor.” It was reported by TMZ on Jan. 9 that Britney Spears will be leaving her role as a judge on “X Factor” to pursue her music.
The singer is currently working on her eighth album. She is currently in the studio recording. Will.i.am helping Britney Spears with the album. Producer Hit-Boy is also assisting with this current album.
“I love watching Britney [Spears] on 'X Factor,” Cassidy Lowe, a Britney Spears fan from Oklahoma City, said. “I don't know who they could find to replace her. I don't know of anyone who could do as good of a job as she does. Maybe Miranda Lambert, which would be interesting – putting her in direct competition with Blake [Shelton on 'The Voice']. That would be interesting.
Despite loving working with Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato, Britney Spears wants to concentrate on her own music. She is even considering going on tour again.
Britney Spears currently earns $15 millions as an “X Factor” judge. She will be walking away from a guaranteed paycheck for the hit-or-miss world her own music.
