Today news came out that Britney Spears quit the "The X-Factor." On Jan. 10, news came out that she will not be returning. According to Radar Online, there was a good chance she would be fired so this was probably a smart move.
Britney is planning to do a new album and also a new tour to promote it. She is planning to focus on this in the next year instead of being on television on "The X-Factor." It is rumored that Simon had already decided about a week ago that he did not have plans to bring her back for another season.
Huffington Post said that she loves music and that is her main focus. She also loves Simon and Demi so that has nothing to do with her decision to leave the show.
