Because Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, Black Eyed Peas and other teen idols could not possibly have been enough excitement yet, the Teen Choice Awards 2009 will also be visited by the ever controversial and always popular Britney Spears.
Hosted by The Jonas Brothers, Kevin, Joe, and Nick, this year´s TC 09 will be a star studded celebration of this year's "choicest" people, movies, shows, songs and other pop culture necessities.
The cast of Twilight will be there, with not only Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison but also Taylor Lautner, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz, many of them amongst the nominees -the movie is in the lead, up for 12 awards including Choice Movie: Drama and Choice Movie: Comedy
And now, her pop majesty, the once crowned and maybe soon reinstated Princess of Pop Britney Spears will also be there. According to MTV UK, the initial exciting news that she would perform at the event was just a mistake by a member of the pop star's team. In a statement, team Britney stated, “We are deeply sorry for any confusion and disappointment and appreciate the ongoing dedication of Britney's wonderful fans.” But she will be there. After all, she is nominated for three Teen Choice Awards, Choice Music: Single for "Circus", Choice Music: Female Artist, and Choice Music: Tour. She will also receive the Ultimate Choice award in honor of her career so far.
The cast of Fox's new musical comedy Glee, and many other celebrities like Zac Efron, Cameron Diaz, David Beckham, and Ellen Degeneres will also make appearances. Furthermore, nominated pop stars, and fellow American Idols, Adam Lambert and David Cook might win an award, or two.
See all of them, including Britney Spears, at the Teen Choice Awards 2009 on Monday, August 10th at 8pm EST on Fox.
