Reports from TMZ on Jan. 12 explain Britney Spears (31) broke up with two people in her life this week – “X Factor” and fiancé Jason Trawick (41).
After a yearlong engagement, Britney Spears and Jason Trawick split. Britney and Jason confirmed their breakup via statements they shared with the public.
Reports claim that Britney, already mother to two boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James, wanted to have more kids with Jason.
However, Jason is “on another page” in his personal life goals. At the moment, the agent is more focused on work and growing his client base.
One source comments to TMZ on how Jason felt working with Britney Spears "took away his individuality." Another source adds to the online tabloid magazine how Jason is “in another place" in terms of starting a family.
Couples differing relationship goals will often face great hardship when it comes to surviving as a couple down the line. For Jason and Britney, it appears both career and life goals got in the way.
Couples such as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rosdale, and David and Victoria Beckham all seemed to be on the same page when they got together. So far, they seem to be doing well.
Britney had been working on getting Jason removed as her conservator. With him in charge of her business and financial decisions, Spears was pretty much bound to him professionally.
As of earlier today, a judge signed her petition removing Trawick from the position of Britney Spears’ conservator.
Britney tells People magazine:
"Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement. I'll always adore him and we will remain great friends."
