The cast of Glee topped the Beatles' chart record for most appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 by a non-solo act. The record was broken due to five covers of Britney Spears' songs from last week's much talked about "Britney/Brittany" episode and the Glee cast's take on Paramore's "The Only Exception."

The six new songs debuted this week on the Billboard Hot 100, bringing the number of Billboard appearances from the Glee cast to 75. The Beatles' record was 71 songs. It took the cast of Glee only 16 months to achieve the feat. The Beatles 71 hits spanned the years of 1964 to 1996.

The highest debut of the week from the Glee cast was Spears' song "Toxic" at number 16 with 109,000 downloads. All six tracks sold 406,000 downloads.

The top Billboard Hot 100 chart acts overall are Elvis Presley with 108 and James Brown with 91.
