Britney Spears goes brunette at Elton John's Oscars party. The pop singer revealed a new darker hairstyle on Sunday, Feb. 24. E! Online published the new photos of Britney at Elton's AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party.
The "Scream & Shout" singer wore a black sequined gown with a plunging neckline. The gown also had a nude panel on the back with floral detail. She paired her dress with De Grisogono jewels and Saint Laurent shoes.
Britney looked years younger with her new look. She also appeared to be a lot happier and relaxed at the elegant affair. She gave a big smile as she posed on the red carpet, took pictures with Elton John and nodded along to some music.
Spears didn't stay long enough to party, though. She arrived at 10:15 p.m. just to leave at 11 p.m. It looks like this pop princess has a curfew now.
The singer seems to be in a good place in her life. She became a brunette back in the years of 2006 and 2007 during the time of her infamous breakdown. She also went to the dark side twice in 2009 during her "Circus" tour.
Britney Spears is also turning a new leaf. Since her split with Jason Trawick, she's been seen with a new man named Dave. She's also considering to perform in Las Vegas.
