In a radio interview uploaded to Britney Spears' official blog on Monday, the pop singer confirmed a new track entitled "Alien," which will be included on her eighth studio album. The song was produced by William Orbit, the man behind Madonna's "Ray of Light."
In an interview with 106.1 KISS-FM's Billy the Kid, Spears was asked about her favorite song on the new album. "This guy named William Orbit, he is spectacular," she responded. "I did a song with him called 'Alien' which is really cool."
"Alien" is the third song to be revealed from Spears' new album. When talking about her Las Vegas show residency last month, Spears named "Perfume" as a ballad on the record. She reportedly co-wrote the track with singer-songwriter Sia, the woman behind Rihanna's "Diamonds" and Celine Dion's "Love Me Back to Life." The album's lead single is the aggressive EDM track "Work B**ch."
"Work B**ch" has so far peaked at no. 12 on Billboard's Hot 100. Former "Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi recently did an acrobatic jazz routine to the song on "Dancing With the Stars." Spears' eighth studio album will be released on December 3.
