Rumors were circulating around that Miley Cyrus would be working with a big pop star on her new album. News surfaced on Tuesday with producer Sean Garrett confirming Britney Spears' involvement on one of Cyrus' tracks. The two will team up for a song on Miley's upcoming "Bangerz" release.
"It’s fun, exciting [music]. We got one with that Britney," he told VIBE about the big news. The collaboration will apparently be produced by Mike Will Made It, the guy behind Cyrus' "We Can't Stop" and Rihanna's "Pour It Up."
"Shoutout to my man Mike Will [Made It] but Mike Will, Miley and me just got in the studio and wanted to make it the biggest record possible. It’s just a pleasure to be working with some icons like that," Garrett said in the interview.
Cyrus had been teasing that she is working with another big name pop star. Spears is now confirmed to be featured on her "Bangerz" album. With Mike Will Made It on board, the new track sounds like it will be another "turn up"-styled club banger.
Cyrus' "Bangerz" album, featuring "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball," will be released on October 8. Before then Spears is set to announce some big news of her own on September 17, which could possibly be about the lead single from her highly-anticipated eighth studio album.
