According to a Jan. 13 TMZ report, Britney Spears' team has almost secured a lucrative Las Vegas performance deal. The publication reports that Spears is considering a move to Las Vegas and has been negotiating with one of the Caeser group properties for a Celine Dion-type show.
Sources close to the star tell TMZ that as far as Spears is concerned, "the deal is a go. There are several stipulations that could throw a monkey wrench in the deal, but it's basically done."
One issue that has reportedly not been negotiated yet is exactly what type of performances Spears will be doing. Discussions continue regarding whether she will do multiple night stage performances or whether she will make appearances at varying locations.
As previously reported, Britney Spears has confirmed her split from fiancé Jason Trawick. The couple who got engaged a year ago had been sleeping in separate bedrooms, a source tells the Daily Mail, adding that “their once strong relationship had fizzled into more of a friendship.”
