Former "X Factor" U.S. judge Britney Spears was among the attendees of her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears' wedding to James Watson. The wedding took place at the Audubon Tea Room in New Orleans on March 14, 2014. According to E! News, Britney went to the wedding with her boyfriend David Lucado and her sons, Jayden James (who is 8) and Sean Preston (who is 7).

E! News also reported that Jamie Lynn's 5-year-old daughter, Maddie, was a flower girl at the ceremony, while Britney's sons were ring bearers. Jamie Lynn and Britney's father, Jamie Spears, gave the bride away.

According to E! News: "There were about 150 to 200 people present for the nuptials and guests, along with the newlyweds, enjoyed a five-tiered wedding cake."

Paparazzi photos show that Britney Spears (who is 32) wore a skin-tight silver. low-cut bandage dress to the wedding. Jamie Lynn's wedding dress was a V-neck white gown designed by Liancarlo, according to E! News.

Jamie Lynn (who is 22) was previously engaged to Casey Aldridge, the father of Maddie, but the couple never married and broke up in 2009.

Britney Spears has been married twice. In January 2004, she eloped with childhood friend Jason Alexander, but that marriage was quickly annulled. In September 2004, she married her former backup dancer Kevin Federline, the father of her sons. Their bitter divorce and custody battle made headlines in 2007, the year that Britney began to have notorious public meltdowns. She lost custody of the kids to Federline, but she has visitation rights.

In 2009, Britney Spears began dating talent agent Jason Trawick, and they got engaged in 2011.

In 2012, Britney Spears was a judge on "The X Factor" U.S. (for a reported $15 million) and got mostly negative reactions from critics and viewers, who described her as a "dull" and "robotic judge." Rating for "The X Factor" U.S. decreased after she joined the show. "The X Factor" creator/executive producer Simon Cowell later admitted in interviews that hiring Britney Spears was a mistake.

In January 11, 2013, Britney Spears announced that she would not be returning to "The X Factor" and that she had ended her personal and professional relationship with Trawick. She began dating law-firm employee Lucado in February 2013.

Since December 2013, Britney Spears has been headlining a residency series of concerts at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. Her eighth studio album, "Britney Jean" (released in December 2013), is her lowest-selling album of new material, according to Billboard. It has only reached gold certification in two countries: Canada and Mexico. It's a big decline from the days when a Britney Spears album would sell millions around the world.
