Britney Spears and Jason Trawick are splitting, and a Jan. 13, 2012 report says they are doing so over the issue of children—she wants more and he’s not ready for them.
Sources told TMZ that Spears, 31, is at a time in her life in which she wants to increase her family. She has two boys—Sean Preston and Jayden James—from her prior relationship with Kevin Federline.
According to the report, Trawick, 41, does not want to start a family of his own, and despite his love for Spears’ children, the couple argued frequently about family issues.
The source also told the tabloid website that Britney’s “empire” did not allow Trawick to have his own identity. When he attempted to expand his business as an agent and acquire more clients, Spears was not pleased, said the report.
On Jan. 10, it was revealed that Spears quit her gig as a judge on “X Factor.” Sources told TMZ she wants to focus on her music, complete an album, and then likely go on tour.
