Britney Spears and fiancé Jason Trawick are over, according to a new TMZ report. After months of speculation that the couple’s relationship was on the rocks, the pop-star told People.com “Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement. I’ll always adore him and we will remain great friends.”
The announcement comes on the heels of Spears’ exit from the judges table on the Fox reality show "X Factor". Radar Online has learned, exclusively, that Trawick has already moved out of the family home. Trawick also released a statement saying, "As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever."
Trawick was Spears’ agent when the two started dating and the couple became engaged in 2011. Sources connected to the duo say the breakup was friendly and that Spears and Trawick will remain friends. When asked about the reason for the split, sources tell TMZ the pair just “grew apart."
Spears is working on her eighth studio album and has two children with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
