Britney Spears and Jason Trawick split mainly because Spears wanted more children and Trawick did not, according to TMZ.
Sources close to the two say Spears, 31, wants to add to her family. Trawick, 41, - although he loves Sean Preston and Jayden James - is in a ‘different place’ and does not want to start a family. The pair argued frequently about family and the differences ultimately led to their split, the sources tell TMZ .
Spears and Trawick began dating in 2009 and got engaged in 2011. Dealing with Spears’ empire took a toll on Trawick and lost his own ‘individuality.’ The website learned Trawick wanted to maintain his own business by managing other clients but Spears was not keen on the idea.
While Spears has reportedly returned the 3.5 carat ring, sources tell TMZ there are no other financial concerns to be worked out. Sources add that Spears has changed management and Trawick has resigned as Spears conservator - her father Jamie Spears will remain as conservator.
Spears is working on her eighth album and her camp is reportedly in negotiations for a very lucrative, long-running show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Celine Dion headlined at the same venue and earned a staggering $100 million a year. Sources tell the TMZ Spears could score more.
