British company to bring deluxe Beatles jukeboxes to U.S. market

British audio firm SoundBeat Ltd., which is offering a line of Beatles jukeboxes in the UK, has told us they hope to widen their market and bring their products to the U.S.

  • You can see pictures of the Beatles jukeboxes in the slideshow at left.
The jukeboxes feature four different designs -- Apple, Yellow Submarine, the Beatles' "Love" and the Beatles albums. Each measures 59 1/2 inches tall, 37 1/2 inches wide and 27 1/2 inches deep. They have an 80 disc changer with a motorized display of 70 titles and a remote control.

A spokesman told us the jukeboxes and speakers are manufactured by the UK company Sound Leisure and have been approved by the Beatles' company Apple Corps Ltd., a spokesman told us.

Prices for the units are £2495 (roughly $3,989 USD, according to current exchange rates, for The Beatles Albums Jukebox including speakers, and £3995 (roughly $6,387 USD) each for the Yellow Submarine, Beatles Cartoon Jukebox and Beatles Love jukeboxes.

I could have sworn these were offered for sale in the states a few years ago.

Could have been a different company.

They have had the Yellow Sub jukebox at the store inside the Mirage hotel since "Love" opened. The price is $9995.00. It was there during the pre-opening shows, and it was still there when I last saw the show on December 27th.
