David Cameron, the British Prime Minister, is standing with Israel. This is rare for a European leader. According to a March 12 report by Fox News, David Cameron said he would stand with Israel when fighting Islamic extremism and a nuclear Iran.

In addition to standing with Israel, Cameron stated that he would “fight efforts” to boycott Israel. Based on his strong comments in support of Israel, he will work to keep others from trying to “delegitimize” Israel.

In his speech, David Cameron also mentioned his own Jewish ancestors. At the time of publications, details about his Jewish ancestry were unavailable.

Cameron also spoke about his support for the U.S. -led peace talks. Despite that, he didn't address any issues that brought Israel's desire for peace under question. He did have a bit of criticism for the current West Bank settlement construction.

During the speech, David Cameron asked that Israel “imagine” the benefits of peace. His comments and strong support for Israel makes it appear he is willing to help Israel work toward that peace.
