More rebellious than a preacher's son is the ex of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's daughter, Levi Johnston.  

The world's most famous babydaddy has announced he's officially posing naked for Playgirl magazine.

"Team Levi is in the process of preparing for his Playgirl appearance," his lawyer Rex Butler told Usmagazine.com.

His lawyer added his workout regimen to get in shape for the shoot has been quite the time sucker for the star who recently welcomed son Tripp last December.

While Team Levi isn't quite sure what issue of the mag he'll be featured in they do know it will be before the end of the year (aka, Tripp's first birthday).

Usmagazine.com also reports Bristol's 19-year-old ex dropped out of high school and quit his oil-field job. For fame? Not hardly.

The "star" who recently filmed his new TV commercial for Wonderful pistachios. The spot for the consumer product allowed Johnston to poke fun at his new role of "dad". The voiceover threw in some additional effect saying: "Now Levi Johnston does it with protection."

During a behind-the-scenes video for his photoshoot in Vanity Fair the self-proclaimed playboy, when asked, said he would pose in Playgirl, a magazine with large gay readership. When asked what he figured that would entail, The Telegraph reports Johnston said, “I’m guessing it’s a dude posing for women.”

Executive editor of Unzipped Media, Rick Andreoli said Johnston is being revered as a gay icon and the gay community has undying support for the redneck Alaskan.

“The gay community’s outpouring of support and adoration for Levi Johnston has been loud and clear since he burst onto the political scene last fall," says Andreoli. "Now, having learned of his desire to bare all for his fans and admirers, we’ve sent an official offer letter to his manager and eagerly await their response.”

And, in just a few weeks, he'll do just that. No word on what kind of paycheck Levi is picking up for the mag, but as previously reported by TMZ, his rear end has good chances at ending up on the pages of the magazine. 

In order to prepare for his big nude debut, Levi is working out like a mad man to freshen up his muscles, hitting the gym six days a week for the next three weeks. In order to prepare to bare his bum, Levi is putting his all into the workouts, unbeknowst to him whether his "front or back" will be on display.

But Team Levi has a plan.

While Rex the Lawyer pulls together the go-to-photo gameplan, Levi is in the gym making every rep count - Even hiring a personal trainer to get his body ready for the lens.
