At this point in time one week ago, it looked like Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston were going to make their relationship work -- even in spite of a jaded history that includes verbal spats on Levi's part with Bristol's famous mother, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. As a matter of fact, the two were reportedly even interested in turning their lives into a reality show.

Now, the couple seems devastated yet again over reports that Levi may be the father of ex-girlfriend Lanisia Garcia's child. As a source tells Radar Online, this drama is shaking things up yet again:

“Levi insists the baby isn’t his, but no one really knows for sure.

“Levi is one of three possible fathers who were with Lanesia during the probable week of conception.”

The source went on to say that the recently-engaged couple are now only talking by "text message" while Levi waits to shoot a music video in Los Angeles.

Even though Sarah Palin sent a statement to "The Today Show" expressing her support from Bristol, there have still been some reports about her hesitation with allowing Levi back into the family so fast after he berated anyone and everyone on TV shows around the country earlier this year.

Was Sarah Palin right to be so hesitant now that we have this new report?
