Bristol Palin is just a young woman doing her best at dancing on “Dancing with the Stars.” With that said, her winning over other dancers has sparked a lot of controversy and just maybe there is something to it?
According to the Washington Post, a political website called Hillbuzz, is boasting how one person was able to get on to the DWTS voting and vote almost 300 times using fake email addresses.
The website also posted how they did this and gave information for others so they could do the same thing. The commenters on the site are pushing for Bristol Palin to win. After she made the finals the commenters thanked everyone for voting Bristol Palin through, and they plan on voting her into the “win.”
If all these are people vote one at a time for Bristol because they believe she is the best dancer, than more power to them. If the case is that they have a rally on a political website just to push someone through as a popularity contest, then this does not seem fair. Especially since they were all basically instructed by the other commenters on how to fake email addresses to do this. Even worse is that it has nothing to do with Bristol Palin’s dancing abilities. It sounds more like a popularity contest.
According to the Washington Post, the Hillbuzz commenters said that the voting process on DWTS has a flaw, it does not check to see if the email you are using is valid. The email address only has to look real, according to the story.
The executive producer for DWTS said that the voting system is set up so no one can go beyond the allotted number of votes per person, so this is not possible.
Is this just people telling stories or can you vote for the DWTS contestants without the email validation in place”
Could this be the reason Bristol Palin continues to win over the other contestants that have better scores from the judges? If this is true, then one person being able to vote close to 300 times may be one of many. Is this what is going on and can this explain the confusion in high volume of votes?
Again, this is not anything that Bristol Palin had anyting to do with, so she should not become a target of scorn if this is in fact what is going on.
Bristol Palin has a tie with the Nutmeg State, she was named after Bristol Connecticut. When Sarah Palin was a young woman, she wanted to be a sports caster on ESPN. When she found that the ESPN studio was located in Bristol Connecticut, she did not pursue this career because it was too far away from home.
According to the website Wonkettes, the town of Bristol Connecticut stayed with Sarah because she loved the name “Bristol.” When it was time to name her first born daughter, well the rest is history!
