The new Food City on Euclid Avenue in Bristol, Virginia, opened this week, and people are quite complimentary about the store and the variety of food selections available. This 58,000+ sq.ft. store is the largest Food City anywhere, so there are bragging rights involved, too!
Located right across the street from the old Food City Store, this one is drawing a lot of attention. People are coming away with very positive things to say about the store, according to the comments on the Food City Facebook page. Many have mentioned how beautiful the new building is and the even larger selection of items available.
Brenda O'Dell of Bristol visited the store and she was duly impressed:
It is very nice. It has a great looking salad bar. All the produce and meats look super fresh. Just hope it stays that way.
If you would like to see photographs of the new store and the grand opening festivities, you can visit the Food City Facebook page here. One very positive improvement that is featured in these photographs is the nice, wide store aisles. The narrow, crowded aisles at the old store discouraged many people from shopping at Food City.
