Brisk and cold with a few flurries around and no sign of spring (Photos)

A blustery and chilly flow will continue across the region today with a strong pressure gradient in place and a few lake enhanced flurries and snow showers. A clipper system will then pass south of the region late Friday into Saturday with little impact on the region before high pressure builds in for the remainder of the weekend with unseasonably cold temperatures continuing. A much larger storm system then looks to approach by Tuesday with a mix of rain and snow.

Today – Mostly cloudy, cold, and breezy with a chance of flurries or snow showers. High 29-33. Winds west between 15 and 20 mph, gusting up to 30 mph. Chance of snow 40 percent.

Normal High/Low: 43° / 25°

Tonight – Mostly cloudy this evening, then becoming mostly clear, breezy, and cold. Low 14-18. Winds west between 10 and 15 mph.

A brisk and cold flow will remain in place across the region today with a few scattered flurries or snow showers.
