Brio introduces stunning artichoke menu and yummy antipasti tasting plates (Photos)

This spring get into the groove of a whole new season with an inspired new menu at Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa’s Italian restaurant Brio. From now until 21 April 2013, they will unveil a special à la carte menu inspired by Italy’s finest artichokes for both lunch and dinner.

The "Italian Artichokes Menu" pays tribute to the Roman artichoke “Carciofo Romanesco”, which only grows from late February to early May and is one of the most appreciated varieties out of over 50 types found in Italy. You can discover Salad of Italian Braised Artichokes w/ Parma Ham & King Prawn priced at $30.04(880Baht) ++ as well as Veloute of Roman Artichokes, Calamari &Squid Ink w/ Lemon Oil priced at $13.65USD (400Baht)++. You can also treat yourself to Carnaroli Risotto w/ Parmesan, Artichokes, Seared Langoustine Tail w/ Cherry Tomato Confit & Blood Orange for $38.23USD (1,120Baht) or enjoy a refined dish of Poached Maine Lobster w/ Fresh Ginger, Oyster Leaf & Hand Pressed Lobster Oil for $56.33USD (1,650Baht)++.

The "Italian Artichoke Menu" will be served daily for both lunch and dinner while the Antipasti & Tasting Plates menu is available for lunch every Monday to Friday between the hours of 11:30 to 14:30. Priced at just $20.14USD (590Baht) ++ per person. This gourmet two course menu begins with a mouthwatering selection of Italian delicacies, followed by a trio of main course pasta dishes. You can also enjoy an "Antipasti Plate" of homemade marinated vegetables, traditional cold cuts and cheeses, as well as freshly baked breads accompanied by chutneys, relishes and garden salads. Then delight in a "Tasting Plate" comprised of three of the chef’s favorite pasta creations.
