Tulips symbolic meaning is eternal life. One of the earlier flowers to bloom outdoors in spring; Tulips can also be brought to bloom indoors and enjoyed during the winter time, while there is still some snow on the ground! The great benefit over time is that tulip bulbs multiply; and so the same can be said for sincere efforts made in the direction of spiritual enlightenment.
Building hardiness is the key to handling all areas of life. Keep calm, it’s simple; there is a deliberate process in support of a spiritual lifestyle that is harmonious with nature’s way.
Is the effort to grow worth it? It’s a wired and busy world, with a part of the human experience driven to know about life here. It is an interesting idea because there are probably tens of thousands of pathways one could choose to take in a lifetime. It is best to take one step at a time and consider the different paths to find the one with personal meaning. The ways to handle the choices: Start walking on your own? Need help? Make it a clean sweep? That said, watching another’s choice of pathway, as made on a daily basis; it would be fascinating to look in on.
Keep moving forward in confidence and faith . In the April-May 2013 edition of Truth Journal, Roy Eugene Davis shared that authenticity is known by examining information, desires, and beliefs. Further stated,
“Spiritual growth was likely to be more satisfying and faster when one lived holistically by harmoniously integrating spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, social, and environment circumstances.”
When one is ready to participate and do the work with personal accountability; here are suggestions from Center for Spiritual Awareness:
- “Lifestyle (holistic, well-ordered, satisfying, ideal for purposes).
- Habitual mental attitudes (cheerful, optimistic, self-confident, thankful, enthusiastic, express excellence).
- Habitual emotional states (calm, stable, mature).
- Spiritual studies (accurate information, steady Improvement of understanding true nature and higher realities).
- Meditation practices and experiences (look forward to doing, alert and attentive, intention).
- Work and/or other activities (skillful, joyful, value to you, others, environment).
- Relationships (wholesome and of real value; harmonious and mutually satisfying).”
Let the creative process begin. Should the focus be on the past or on the future? No matter the choice of direction taken, the freedom to choose is an important element in navigating the human experience toward recalling high Self’s pathway to its destiny of growth, evolution, and service.
Nurturing seeds of growth is accessed by tapping into one’s creative resources. Since these resources are usually unavailable in the middle of transition or in survival mode; it is a good idea to include regular reviews of how life is going, and then make constructive changes where necessary. There is good news: The Law of Life Cycles allows for a reset button every nine years, another look, higher perspective, at how closely life is tracking toward its original purpose.
Ellen Grace O’Brian shares that the way to accomplish worthy purposes is through wisdom-guided will. Ms. O’Brian states” there is a difference between using the will for creative and wholesome purposes and using it to satisfy selfish motives.” It is recommended by Ms. O’Brian to think about the goals, offer them to God, release attachment to them, and wait for an inner response. A sense of peace and well-being is a good indication of movement in the right direction for soul’s purposes.
Take the load off! There can be negative impacts experienced to essential energy, so set boundaries, be self-assured, and place the responsibility where it belongs. It is a good idea to filter through the stuff: A personal issue does not become another’s problem. Others’ actions or speech, there are an outward reflection of their interior life. What is really needed by one and all is emotional support and doing little things on a daily basis that help out.
The best course is to have a strategy for it has been said that “people who meditate frequently actually increase their reservoir of calm.” Buddhist monks teach inner-state body centering practices of deep breathing, frequent meditations, and doing calming exercises (such has yoga), in order to trigger a relaxation response by slowing down the mind. In turn, this discipline enables harmony of body-breath-mind, a restful (naturally restored) awareness that benefits every aspect of life.
Creative-Resourceful-Whole. Surviving and thriving may rest on a clear-cut philosophy: “Keep the focus on serving, and then everything else falls into line … simply provide what is needed.” Learn to know what is reliable, as this is the pathway for improving quality of existence. When one’s spiritual path is discovered stay the course.
Authentic truth is intellectually accepted and intuitively known when a strong connection is made with God/Creator. Mr. Davis describes the how-to-do as dedication to a course of wholesome, productive actions that support individual process, without attracting undue attention to self (ego). The saving grace - Knowledge needed is revealed in ordinary ways or it quietly emerges from within. Spoken beautifully:
“I am intent on having progressive, authentic spiritual growth that illuminates my mind and fully liberates my consciousness.” (-Truth Journal)
Meditation – “If you use all available outward means, as well as your natural abilities, to overcome every obstacle in your path, you will thus develop the powers that God gave you – unlimited powers that flow from the innermost forces of your being. You possess the power of thought and the power of will. Utilize to the uttermost these divine gifts! (-The Law of Success, SRF)
