Bring your pup to the movies for a good cause this Thursday

Cinémas Palme D'Or in Palm Desert presents a special screening of the film "Hatchi," to help raise money for Paws & Hearts Animal Assisted Therapy. This is a one-time only screening and will be held on Thursday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. Admission is $11 and it allows you to bring one very well-behaved, social dog. (Absolutely no retractable leashes permitted...short leashes only.) 100% of proceeds benefit Paws & Hearts.

"Hatchi," is a drama based on the true story of a college professor's bond with the abandoned dog he takes into his home. The film was directed by Lasse Hallström and stars Richard Gere, Joan Allen and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa.

"Hatchi" is rated G and has a run-time of 1 hour and 33 minutes.
