If you have a pet bunny who doesn’t mind traveling, is laid back and comfortable around new people, please feel free to bring him to Midwest BunFest this Saturday! Your long-eared social butterfly can enjoy the Bunny Spa and the Bunny Lounge while you shop and take advantage of the educational sessions. At the Spa, prices are $5-$8 for individual services and just $20 for a full spa package including nail trimming, gland cleaning, hair removal brushing and a bunny massage! Afterwards, your bunny will be all set for some Glamour Shots - $10 for a professional photo shoot of your best bunny, a free 4x6 from the shoot, and the ability to browse all the photos and buy more online!
The Bunny Lounge is where guests and their bunnies can take a break, kick back and relax. You can grab a snack from the snack bar and give your bunny a chance to get out of his/her carrier or stroller and stretch out a bit. There will be tables and chairs for people and x-pens with litter boxes, water, and hay for the bunnies.
No one knows your bunny as well as you, and the event is likely to be noisy and a little crowded, which can prove stressful for some bunnies. If you think that Midwest BunFest might be a bit much for your bunny, please leave her at home…but be sure to pick up lots of great bunny toys, treats and accessories at BunFest to make it up to her!
Ohio House Rabbit Rescue and the Midwest BunFest team wants every bunny to enjoy the event, so upon arrival, each bunny guardian (must be an adult over the age 18) will be asked to register their bunny and sign a waiver indicating that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with the 2013 Midwest BunFest rules.
The 2013 Midwest BunFest is coming up Saturday Nov 2 from 9:30 to 5:00 at the Whitehall Community Park Activities Building at 402 N. Hamilton Rd., Whitehall, Ohio 43213 - near the Columbus airport. Admission is only $5 for adults and $3 for kids under 12 - no charge for bunny admission!
