Mixing up some cocktails with Courvoisier is an easy way get into the spirit. Combining Courvoisier® VSOP with seasonal favorites such as apricot, apple cider and marmalade is just the trick to have up your sleeve, making for a festive treat to spice up Halloween night.
THE APRICOT HAUNT at Millesime at The Carlton Hotel
Ingredients:
1 part Courvoisier® VSOP
1 part Fresh Lemon Sour
.5 part DeKuyper® Apricot Brandy
4 parts Apple Cider
Directions:
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon spiral twist and a dash of fresh ground cinnamon.
THE TWISTED RIVOLI at ZIO (17 West 19thStreet)
Ingredients:
1 part Courvoisier® VSOP
½ part apricot brandy Splash of dark cacao (optional)
2 teaspoons of shredded marmalade Orange to garnish
Directions: Pour the Courvoisier® VSOP™, apricot brandy and dark cacao into a cocktail shaker before adding the marmalade. Stir briskly. Fill the shaker with ice cubes. Shake vigorously and strain into a Martini glass.
