Bring ‘Cheap Thrills’ home May 27th

The insanely outrageous dark comedy Cheap Thrills is finished with its limited theatrical run. Hopefully you got a chance to see it (yes it was shown in St. Louis) but if not luckily for us all it is hitting the DVD shelves soon.

"Have a blast with Cheap Thrills on DVD and Blu ray May 27th!"
Drafthouse Films

The morbid hit Cheap Thrills directed by E.L. Katz (who has a segment on ABC’s of Death 2) will be DVD and Blu ray on May 27th at a SRP of 24.95 and 19.99 respectively. The film will include a 45 minute "making of" documentary along with audio commentary from Katz and star Pat Healy.

The story follows Craig (Pat Healy) who is down on his luck after losing his job and receiving an eviction notice. He runs into an old friend at the bar (Ethan Embry) and they both encounter an odd couple (David Koechner and Sara Paxton) who has a weird proposition for them. What starts off as some harmless fun quickly becomes and measuring stick to the limits one will go through for a “quick buck”.

Cheap Thrills is a load of fun and a must to pick up when it is released. Read our original review here and look for more on Cheap Thrills soon!
