Brightside's fourth annual Green Tie Bash is March 5th

Brightside's fourth annual Green Tie Bash will be held this Friday, March 5th from 8PM to midnight at the Olmstead.  The Olmstead is located at 3701 Frankfort Avenue. The Green Tie Bash is presented by the Young Professionals Association of Louisville and Louisville Urban League Young Professionals. The Green Building is sponsoring the Acorn Awards.  The following Acorn Awards will be presented:
 

- The Acorn Award for Green Leadership to an Individual.

- The Acorn Award for Green Leadership to a non-profit Group.

- The Acorn Award for Green Leadership to a Small Corporation.

(It is anticipated the small companies will be recognized for being on the cutting edge in sustainability practices or creating innovative products.)

- The Acorn Award for Green Leadership to a Large Corporation

(It is anticipated that the bigger corporations will be recognized for making strides toward greening their business.)

 The Green Building will donate $1,000 to each winner’s Kentucky-based environmental non-profit organization of choice.

Along with the Acorn Awards it will be an evening of food, drinks, silent auctions and dancing!  This event continues to attract hundreds of Louisville professionals. Tickets for this fun event on sale now ypal.org.

Donor-funded and volunteer-driven, Brightside is uniting people in clean and green activities to beautify the city and foster community pride. Green Tie Bash proceeds benefit downtown beautification programs!
