This week the Brighton District Library is holding its semi-annual book sale, which is open to the public. You can buy books at the sale from Wednesday, October 9 until Sunday October, 13. DVDs, CDs, and videotapes will also be available for sale. The books are all in very good condition, and only gently used. Money made from the sale will go to fund the summer reading program and other special library programs.
The sale will be open from 10 a.m.-9 p.m on both Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, the hours will be from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. On Sunday, which is the last day of the sale, it will only be open from 1 p.m-4 p.m. The price of the books is $1 each , with children's books only 50 cents. On Saturday, you will be able to fill a bag with books for only $5. On Sunday, any books that are leftover will be given away for free.
