Investigators said employees were unlocking the business when an armed man came running up behind them and pushed his way inside. Once inside, he began demanding that the store employees give him the money from the store safe, police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said.

“When the manager was not able to open the safe, the offender took personal items from the employees and fled out a side door of the business,” Sgt. Pierce said.

Police could not provide a detailed description of the two suspects and they did not say what role the woman played in the robbery.
