In a recent interview with E! Online Bridget Marquardt offered her opinion on Jon and Kate Gosselin’s divorce. She stated, "I personally don't think it necessarily had to do with the reality show.” "I think he was unhappy with his marriage and the situation to begin with…I think [reality tv] definitely is a stress factor in a relationship, but I don't think it breaks it up. I think there have to be underlying problems."
Regarding Bridget’s plans for the future, she and boyfriend Nick Carpenter are moving in together and there are talking about a possible reality TV show similar to Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett’s on E! called “Kendra”. “We've talked about the possibility of doing a spin-off show similar to what Kendra is doing," Bridget stated. "We'll see."
As far as Kendra’s reported move to the East Coast, to be with new husband and Eagle’s football player-Hank Baskett, and her upcoming baby shower. Bridget is planning the shower for Kendra after she gets settled into her new home. It reportedly will be held on the West Coast in September at Mary O'Connor's house [Hefner’s long time personal assistant]. Bridget stated, “We'll see if she goes back to Philly after that." (Kendra is due on December 25, 2009)
