The Bridgeport Sound Tigers lost to the Binghamton Senators 6-5 in what turned out to be a wild afternoon of Hockey. The Binghamton Senators scored twice in the first period in a span of 47 seconds. Later in the first, Binghamtons Mike Hoffman scored a goal making it 3-0. By then Bridgeport had had enough and replaced goalie Nilsson. Before the first period ended, Ryan Strome scored his first goal of the season.
Just one minute into the second period, the Sound Tigers Persson scored bringing the game to 3-2. The Sound Tigers then tied the game early in the third when Persson scored his second goal of the night. The tie didn't last long however after Cole Schneider of the Senators netted one bringing it to 4-3. Binghamtons Andrey Pedan then scored but the Sound Tigers fought back when Mike Halmo and Johan Sundstrom scored within a minute of each other tieing the game 5-5. The game ended in overtime when the Senators Mike Hoffman scored his second goal of the night. The Sound Tigers now travel to Syracuse to face the Crunch on Friday.
