The Bridgeport Sound Tigers ended their weekend with a second straight loss, falling to the Springfield Falcons 3-1. The Falcons kept the Sound Tigers scoreless late into the third period, when Johan Sundstrom scored his first goal of the season. By then it was to late as Falcons players Darryl Boyce, Michael Chaput, and Tim Erixon had already each scored a goal holding off the Sound Tigers. Sound Tigers head coach Scott Pellerin had this to say “In order for us to be successful, we have to be the hardest working team on the ice night in and night out,” “That’s part of becoming a pro and it’s something we’re going to work on this week.” It's very early in the season but its obvious the Sound Tigers have some work to do. The Sound Tigers are back on the ice at Webster Arena on Sunday, Oct. 20, when they take on the Binghamton Senators.
