Bridesmaids is an award-winning comedy and competition for best friend status. Annie, played by Kristen Wiig, is the maid of honor for best friend Lillian, played by Maya Rudolph. The competition is between Annie and one of the bridesmaids.
Bridesmaids is also about friendship and how much you're willing to do for those that you really love and care about.
The movie starts out with a scene of physical intimacy and the food poisoning scene is raunchy and wild. But, overall, it's a good see.
It's just not that funny. That's the thing. Just, not that funny.
Megan, however, is pretty stinkin' funny. Pretty much everything that streams from her mouth is strange and funny. Megan is delightful in a non-feminine kind of way.
Annie: Call me when your boobs come in.
Annie: He called me late and we hung out.
Annie's Mom: You sure you don't want to move in with me?
Lillian: I crapped in a wedding dress. Okay? I crapped.
Lillian: I got engaged.
Megan: Female fight club. We grease up. We pull in. Lillian doesn't know, so we, "Surprise!" We're gonna fight.
Megan: I gotta take a whiz and I'll be right back.
Megan: I met a dolphin down there.
Megan: I'm glad he's single, 'cause, I'm gonna climb that like a tree.
Megan: That's from my undercarriage.
Megan: They threw firecrackers at my head.
Megan: 'Cause, you're the problem Annie. You're also the solution.
