"Bride dies crash wedding" searches are linked to a horrible tragedy of a Georgia newlywed couple. Kali Dobson (Quinton) and Ryan Quinton were only married for hours on Sunday, celebrated at the wedding reception, and were involved in a single-car accident, which killed the new bride. Police are investigating the cause of the fatal accident and if the groom was impaired during the crash that killed the new bride, according to an updated Jan. 1 NYDailyNews report.

As one can imagine, a bride dying in a crash after her wedding is unbearable and unimaginable. This tragedy took place two minutes from the place where they bid goodbyes to family and friends before heading out on their honeymoon.

Kali Shay Dobson of Jasper, Ga., according to her Facebook page, and her new husband, were driving home from the Wheeler House on Gilmer Ferry Road in the small town of Ball Ground, when Ryan lost control of his vehicle, rolled down an embankment and came to a stop in a thicket.

At some point, Kali, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the car and became pinned underneath the weight of the vehicle. A passerby stopped to give assistance and tried to comfort Ryan, who was in a bloody mess. In his opinion, there was nothing the two of them could do to save his bride.

"His shirt was all torn up and he was bleeding. He had blood all over his face and blood was coming out of his hands and stuff and just looked bad. And it scared me to death," who offered prayers on the scene while he and Ryan waited for police and paramedics to arrive.

After the bride died in the car accident, a wedding attendee shared some words about the couple.

I just thought about how many times she (Dobson) told me this is the happiest day of her life," said Lisa Cruikshank, a photographer for Still Pearl Photography. Reportedly, she was one of the last persons at the couple's post-wedding celebration to see them leave the reception.

They got into the car, and they said, 'We love you all so much.' They thanked us all and we watched them drive off," Cruikshank added.

Quinton told police he was trying to avoid striking a rogue dog in the road, which caused him to swerve and lose control.

Now, the tough task of reconstructing the accident is ahead, part of which will involve routine tests for alcohol and drugs that could have been a factor in the woman's death.

The results are pending and the Georgia Department of Public Safety, charged with investigating the horrific crash, has not ruled out whether it will pursue criminal charges, should the results support impairment.

Arguably, it's on the man's mind, but it pales in comparison to the day he'll never forget, one that went from joy to pain in mere minutes.

More to come on the bride dies crash wedding story.
