A Georgia bride dies in a car crash hours after her wedding. Fox8 Cleveland reported Jan.1 that Kail Shay Quinton, 25, was in a single-car accident Sunday in Ball Ground soon after she and her husband, Ryan Patrick Quinton, 27, left the reception.
The report said Ryan was trying to avoid hitting a dog in the road...overturning the Firebird and ejecting his new bride. The car flipped then landed on Kali before it went down an embankment. She was not wearing a seat belt. Tragically, Kali died at scene of the car crash on her wedding day. Ryan was taken to the hospital to treat his injuries.
Tests are being done to determine why the car crash happened with Ryan at the wheel. There were reports that he was "staggering" around to get help for his wife after the accident. Authorities want to know if alcohol was a factor in this terrible incident. If it was, he could be facing some serious charges.
It is a horrible way to ring in the new year when a bride dies in a crash on her wedding day. This will be something the groom will have to live with the rest of his life. Swerving to avoid hitting an animal in a car is a normal reaction, but this one proves how deadly it can be.
