When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination.
2013 Fall season- Week 9- October 28th-November 3rd
Brianna Skolfield- Foxcroft- field hockey- Made eight saves including a diving save in 1-0 class C regional final victory over Winslow. Skolfield made four saves in 1-0 class C state championship victory over NYA. Skolfield finished the season with 17 shutouts and only allowed one goal for the entire season.
Skolfield is the ninth student/athlete from Foxcroft Academy to earn AOW.
She joins Julia Annis, Kaleb Smith, Jesse Provost, Mackenzie Coiley, Tino Ayala, Cameron Fadley, Donnie Boyer, and Ryan Rebar as other Ponies that have captured the honor. Boyer and Rebar have won three times each.
Madison Fadley- Foxcroft- field hockey- Scored in the second half in 1-0 class C regional final victory over Winslow. Also scored the game winning goal in 1-0 class C state championship victory over NYA.
Drew Graves- Nokomis- field hockey- Scored the only goal in 1-0 class B regional final victory over Old Town.
Allison Lancaster- Skowhegan- field hockey- Scored on a penalty stroke in the second half in 1-0 class A regional final victory over Messalonskee. Had one goal in 4-1 class A state championship victory over Scarborough.
Kaitlin Saulter- Hermon- soccer- Scored two goals in 4-0 class B quarterfinal victory over Winslow.
Kenzie Worcester- Washburn- soccer- Scored five goals in 9-1 class D quarterfinal victory over Schenck. Had two goals and one assist in 9-0 class D semifinal victory over Van Buren.
