He will star as Marvel Comic's Absorbing Man and will be making his debut come Sept. 23. The character from the comics goes by the real name of Carl "Crusher" Creel and has the ability to absorb any given properties of items he touches.

He has been in the league of The Masters of Evil and has been allied along with The Wrecking Crew. He's been a pawn of Loki's to be used against Thor and Loki was the one responsible for endearing him with such powers and abilities. Wade has also been seen in other works such as the "Teen Wolf" TV series and "Generation Kill" on HBO.

A spoiler may lead some to believe that the photo used to display Wade as Absorbing Man was similar to someone seen in some "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." footage. This actor is the stunt double and had a blue-ish hue to his arm. That being said, and this hasn't been confirmed, that this could lead one to believe he had the characteristics similar to that of the blue alien seen at the T.A.H.I.T.I. location. The same alien that produced the GH 325 serum used to save Agent Phil Coulson and Agent Skye.

Some may have thought him to be actually one of the blue aliens himself, but may likely be that of the "absorbing" attributes acquired by Absorbing Man. That being said, this could lead to one to also speculate that this newly introduced character came in contact with Coulson or Skye.
