After three grueling long days of skillful play in an event packed with the highest level of competition, Brian Kibler managed to win the 2012 Magic: the Gathering Pro Tour Dark Ascension. Brian Kibler defeated two of Magic's best players in the top eight of the event: Jon Finkel and Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa.
According to a tweet by Brian Kibler in regards to facing Jon Finkel:
"Dear god that match. On to the finals vs. Paulo."
Kibler's deck might look very familiar to readers who've been watching recent events. That's because Conley Woods won Grand Prix Orlando 2012 with a ramp deck featuring many of the same cards. Kibler's list drops black in favor of red, running a full play set of Huntmaster of the Fells from Dark Ascension.
