Brian Geraghty signs on for recurring role in 'Boardwalk Empire' Season 4

A Feb. 27 report from Deadline says that actor Brian Geraghty will have a recurring role in the upcoming season of “Boardwalk Empire.” Geraghty, who co-starred in the Oscar-winning film, “The Hurt Locker,” will play Loren Knox, a prohibition agent newly assigned to Atlantic City, who has “ulterior motives.”

This is Geraghty’s second recurring role for a major television series, following another HBO series, “True Blood.” Geraghty has had guest spots on “Law & Order”; “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”; “Ed”; and “The Sopranos.”

Other films in which Geraghty has co-starred include “Flight”; “Jarhead”; “Bobby”; and “The Guardian.” He can soon be found in “Ass Backwards,” which premiered at Sundance; “Kilimanjaro”; “WildLike”; “The Identical”; and “Why Now?!,” all of which are scheduled for release later this year.

This news comes the day after it was announced that Ron Livingston (“Office Space”) would be joining the Prohibition-era drama as a regular.

The fourth season of “Boardwalk Empire” is currently in production and will air sometime in the fall.
