Hope Chest Center City in Philadelphia is holding "Brews, Bras & Bling" tonight, an event that will turn the nightmare of Valentine's Day shopping into a fantasy experience for men. Hosted by Marisa Magnetta from WMMR's Preston & Steve Show, the store at 1937 Chestnut St. is offering up cocktails, appetizers, giveaways and more from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., accompanied by lingerie models and music spun by DJ Eddie Tully.
Designed to make Valentine's Day shopping a better experience for men, this happy hour and shopping event includes the opportunity to win signed sports gear, take advantage of in-store promotions and get a little advice on jewelry and lingerie from the experts. The Hope Chest, owned by Jennifer Rosen, has a carefully chosen selection for everyday wear, but also special occasions such as the upcoming romantic holiday.
“Valentine’s Day is typically for the ladies, but Brews, Bras, & Bling is all about the guys,” said Rosen. “They can hang out, relax, and impress their sweetheart, all in one evening.”
In addition to the Hope Chest's offerings, men will find options from New York-based lingerie designer ARI DEIN and online jewelry boutique ADORNIA.
While this event is geared towards the men, women can always stop by the Hope Chest anytime and snag something for their man as well. For men attending tonight that are too shy to make a purchase, a wish list will make that shopping trip a bit easier.
