Brewing publications: Immersing ourselves in the world of wort (Photos)

In this age of information, finding materials to immerse ourselves in the world of beer is relatively simple. Websites and forums afford an endless supply of material to feed our need to know more about our favorite beverage. Books galore have been written by many notable authors providing reviews and how-to's. But our passion for beer, from tasting to homebrewing, may benefit from the near-obsolete periodical print media sources that get delivered right to your doorstep.

Magazines and newspapers allow us to read articles and columns covering a wide variety of topics by notable personalities and experts in the brewing industry. Some brew-focused publications are national, some are more localized, but all contain a consise organization of wit, information, and visual appeal to spontaneously whet our appetite for the ancient liquid pleasure we call beer. Hey Amanda...thanks for the comment and interest. I just recently updated the article to include subscription terms, publication frequency and price.

I believe each magazine has an online version where you can find some of the main articles for free, but none are free to print and deliver. You can, however, find Brewing News distribution points at select locations, including local brewpubs, tap houses and many package stores that sell craft beer. Which ones you ask? That's the fun...go visit them all to find out :D
