The 2014 MLB live stream and TV schedule continues today and for the Boston Red Sox it will be the first time they will play in front of the hometown folks since they won the 2013 World Series. Fenway Park will be rocking today!

According to a SB Nation report on April 3, Boston will celebrate Opening Day at Fenway Park this afternoon by officially being crowned the 2013 Champions before they get down to business vs. the Milwaukee Brewers. Not only will they have new World Champion rings, but the Sox will be wearing commemorative championship hats for the home opener. Not a bad way to open the season for the Red Sox faithful.

Boston will send ace Jake Peavy to the mound to face the Brew Crew, while Milwaukee counters with Marco Estrada. The Long Beach State right hander will try to play spoiler vs. Peavy and the Red Sox on their big day.

Peavy became an instant fan favorite in Boston after coming over from the White Sox late in the season last year. While he didn’t have the greatest postseason in 2013, Peavy did finish 4-1 for Boston. Now Red Sox fans want to see how much Peavy can help Boston repeat as World Series Champions.

Las Vegas odds makers have Boston listed as the favorite at -165 with the over/under run total set at 8.5.

Fans can catch all of the action for this game streaming online through the MLB Extra Innings package. MLB is continuing free online and TV coverage for every game now through April 6. You can click here for all the information.
