There were moments of joy, reminiscing and tears. Each artist shared experiences and their expressed appreciation helped to make Brett Fest a real ‘love’ fest. Music fans came out in their numbers in support of Brett Tally who is currently battling CML (Chronic Mylogenous Leukemia).
It was standing room only. Each band had amazing performances, and engaged the audience to rally behind Brett. In the lobby area were vendors selling various items such as food, CDs, T- shirts etc, and a raffle with all proceeds going to support Brett and his family.
During the fest, Brett performed with Susie & The Sizzlers, IKE and with other invited performers by contributing guitar, voice or both. The artist line-up included Mike Mitchell, Paul Wiese, Phil Murphy, Lexi & Michael, David Melendez, Boy Wonder, Rodger Delany, The Better Half, Matt Duke, Pawnshop Roses, John & Brittany, The Jellybricks and Awesome Bros.
After performing with IKE, Brett shared with the audience his appreciation of their support, he thanked John Faye (of IKE and John & Brittany) for organizing the event and he spoke about his daily pains as he battles the disease. His speech was moving and the audience reassured Brett of their love and support.
John & Brittany’s “Zzzoloft (unplugged) live @ Springhouse Sound,” is a single that’s presently available in support of Brett Tally. Please support and share the link.
Special Thanks to all the performers, organizers and volunteers for a spectacular evening at the Brett Fest, also special thanks to World Café Live for housing the event.
