Bret Michaels’ meltdown on the “Celebrity Apprentice” show Sunday night shocked many but now new details are emerging over what may have pushed Michaels over the edge.

“Bret was crying and totally distraught after he was fired,” a source described as a “show insider” told Radar. “Bret totally went into the show believing he was going to win again. He couldn’t believe it that he was let go so quickly. It was brutal to watch him freaking out the way he did.”
Radar cites a source who says that when the cameras stopped, producers had to comfort Michaels.
