Bret Michaels meltdown: Singer loses it after 'Celebrity Apprentice' elimination

The Bret Michaels meltdown is making celebrity headlines this week, as UPI News reported this Tuesday, March 5, that Bret Michaels nearly lost it after being recently eliminated from “Celebrity Apprentice.”

Under the news headline, “Bret Michaels has meltdown over ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ elimination”, the Poison singer indeed seemed to have an emotional breakdown after he was the first contestant on the show fired from the all-star celebrity edition of Donald Trump’s returning reality business show.

Bret Michaels was allegedly “shocked” by the “brutal” elimination, and broke down into tears once the camera was off.

"Bret was crying and totally distraught after he was fired," a show insider told Radar. "It was a mess when Bret was told the news and filming was done."

"He couldn't stop crying and even the producers were trying to comfort him. No one expected him to have a meltdown like that," the source added.

The Bret Michaels meltdown may have come as a result of the talented rocker winning a “Celebrity Apprentice” season back in 2009, and now losing it so soon into the series. He allegedly was put on the chopping block in the boardroom, effectively "losing" against La Toya Jackson in this round.

"Bret went into the show believing he was going to win again," the source said. "He couldn't believe he was let go so quickly."
