A Bret Michaels meltdown followed his elimination from "Celebrity Apprentice" and took a lot of his fans by surprise. According to Radar Online on March 5, the meltdown was not put on for show, and Bret broke down off camera after his elimination.
According to an insider, the Bret Michaels meltdown included him crying and being completely distraught after his elimination. It was tough for Donald Trump to make the decision too. He seemed like he would have eliminated Playboy playmate Brande Roderick, but she raised so much money, he couldn't cut her.
That brought it down to a choice between Bret Michaels and La Toya Jackson. Michaels ended up as the first man cut from this season's "Celebrity Apprentice," something that seemed hard for Trump to do, and something that took Michaels by surprise. Michaels was a past season winner, so being the first man eliminated took him by surprise.
Even producers couldn't console the Bret Michaels meltdown after his elimination. The camera crew was respectful of the Poison front man, and "Celebrity Apprentice" just showed him gracefully leaving the event. However, sources say he couldn't stop crying and no one expected the elimination would hit him as hard as it did.
