After Poison frontman, Bret Michaels had a meltdown on Sunday's episode of "Celebrity Apprentice," online gossip sites and fans went wild. However, in defense of firing Bret from the reality TV show, Donald Trump took to Twitter and shared his two-cents about the Bret Michaels meltdown.
According to a Mar. 5 report, UPI shared the details about Michaels' tearful departure after being fired by "The Donald."
To the poison singer's shock -- and his beloved fans -- he was the first celebrity to get the boot on the All-Star special. Before the show aired, he was largely the favorite to become the first to win the title twice. However, after Trump said the infamous phrase, "You're fired," sources say Bret Michaels had a tearful meltdown.
An insider who witnessed Bret's meltdown said the singer was bent all out of shape and very tearful when the cameras were not rolling. What's more, after Trump fired Michaels, several production assistants had to rally together and calm him down.
"Bret went into the show believing he was going to win again. He couldn't believe he was let go so quickly. It was brutal to watch him freaking out the way he did," the source said about the blind-sided firing.
Michaels' fans went up in arms and shared their dismay over Bret's firing. However, Trump stood by his decision and shared his take on the matter.
"For those of you defending Bret and saying Omarosa should go remember Bret chose O which could also be considered a big mistake!" Trump tweeted Monday.
Michaels later admitted his downfall was choosing Omarosa, whom he describes as the "evil incarnate."
While Bret Michaels had a breakdown after the shocking firing, he shared kind words about Trump and the show. Perhaps, he realizes that burning bridges will not get him an invite in the mail next time around?
