Bret Michaels had a meltdown when he was surprisingly eliminated on the first episode of the new season of All-Stars Celebrity Apprentice RadarOnline.com reported March 5. Anyone who gets fired by Donald Trump is expected to be miserable, but Michaels was stunned and totally a mess. The "Poison" front man was the past season winner, and he never expected to get fired the first time out this year.
Michaels was the only past winner to come back on the show as a contestant again. RadarOnline.com was informed exclusively by a show insider that:
"Bret was crying and totally distraught after he was fired. Bret totally went into the show believing he was going to win again. He couldn't believe it that he was let go so quickly. It was brutal to watch him freaking out the way he did."
The first episode of the season pitted Bret against La Toya Jackson and in the end, Donald Trump chose to let Bret go. The episode which aired Sunday showed Trump giving Michaels the boot. He conveyed disbelief that the singer would actually return as a contestant to the show after having won it once already.
"You're asking me to pick you as a winner again, which I thought was crazy, " Trump told Michaels before giving him the bad news.
The inside source stated:
"It was a mess when Bret was told the news and filming was done. He couldn't stop crying and even the producers were trying to comfort him. No one expected him to have a meltdown like that."
"All-Stars Celebrity Apprentice" can be seen on NBC on Sunday nights at 9/8c.
