Bret Michaels had an emotional meltdown after being the first one fired on “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice.” According to a March 5 story on Radar Online, Michaels was “distraught” and he even continued crying after the show with the producers trying to comfort him. Donald Trump had to decide whether to fire Bret Michaels or LaToya Jackson.
Michaels was the only returning winner, and he apparently expected that he was on the way to winning again. According to Huffington Post, it seemed Bret Michaels was fired because he had won before.
"You’re asking me to pick you as a winner again, which I thought was crazy," Trump told him.
It does seem odd that the matter did not come up before filming. Donald Trump took to Twitter, which he often does, to discuss the situation.
@realdonaldtrump tweeted:
For those of you defending Bret and saying Omarosa should go remember Bret chose O which could also be considered a big mistake!
Bret Michaels, the lead singer from the group “Poison,” suffered a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage in 2010, and he is a serious diabetic. He does extensive charity work with the American Diabetes Association, and he is known for his personal involvement in helping others at a local hospital. His own previous health problems have not been mentioned as a possible cause for the emotional display Sunday night on "Celebrity Apprentice."
